AIM

The overall aim of the course is to gain an  understanding of  film as visual storytelling, and appreciate how directors, cinematographers and production designers use art to tell stories visually.

OBJECTIVES

Attendees should be able to take this away with them at the end of the workshop series:

1.       Understand the visual elements of genre 2.       Identify different ways that “realism” is expressed through visuals 3.       Appreciate the value of art knowledge in filmmaking, and be able to apply it
